GAME PLAN
In 2007, Adelaide’s
own Original Footy Grand Final Luncheon will enjoy a move to one of Adelaide’s most prestigious
locations, the Hilton International Adelaide.
This year's lunch begins at 12:30pm sharp and concludes at 4:30pm.
With legendary Adelaide personality Keith Conlon steering the ship and Simply Footy’s Corey Wingard as co-captian,
the day is sure to be a memorable one.
In 1997, The Adelaide Football Club claimed its inaugural Premiership Flag, cementing its position in the AFL and
proving that perseverance and ambition are key elements in succeeding at the highest level. The 2007 luncheon will
look to celebrate this achievement, having key members of this Premiership Team participate in an interactive session
with the audience and the MC.
Noted architect, Test cricketer, AFL footballer, larrikin, best selling author and driver of many million dollars
of marketing campaigns Max Walker will also be on hand to inspire, entertain and draw links between performing at
this peak level and is sure to tell a great yarn or two.
In Max’s words: "Successful businesses and
people in the 21st century will be those people with fresh ideas ... who re-imagine possibilities and take time
out from the corporate treadmill to contemplate". This and other ideas will be explored in a fun and interactive
way throughout the luncheon.
This year's event will showcase members
of the 1997 Adelaide Crows Premiership team and ther road to glory, giving insight into what it takes to be an elite
sportsmen and highlighting many principles that can be applied in today’s
business world. All served with a hefty dose of fun.
2007 will also feature some good old fashioned belly laughs! Entertainer and comedian Peter Dee will have you and
your guests in stitches. Plenty more laughs and a few suprises will follow.
