AFL Grand Final Week has become much more than just two teams battling it out for the trophy on that one day in September. In Melbourne they call it the “Smooze Fest”, a fortnight long celebration of breakfasts, lunches, dinners and networking, leading up to the big game.

So why should Victorians have all the fun?

Champion Events has been successfully running Adelaide’s original AFL Grand Final Luncheon for the past four years, growing the event to be one not to be missed on the social calendar.

This year's lunch begins at 12:30pm sharp and concludes at 4:30pm.

In 2007 it’s time for Adelaide to once again step up to plate (or should that be “run through the team banner”?) and prepare for another four quarters of quality entertainment, fabulous food and wine, mind-boggling insights into the world of AFL Football and “mixing it with the best”.
